Jim Jordan references First Amendment and announces Fox News appearance

Rep. Jim Jordan, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Ohio’s 4th district, posted several updates on his social media account between September 3 and September 4, 2025.

On September 3, Jordan shared a brief message referencing constitutional rights: "The First Amendment." Later that day, he announced an upcoming television appearance with the post: "Coming up on Fox News shortly. Tune in!" The following morning, Jordan posted a tweet containing only a link: "https://t.co/NzCLjMz4Sv"

Jordan has served as the representative for Ohio’s 4th congressional district since 2007, succeeding Mike Oxley. Before his tenure in Congress, he was a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 1995 to 2000 and served in the Ohio Senate from 2001 to 2006. Born in Troy, Ohio in 1964 and currently residing in Urbana, Jordan holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Capital University.
