Rep. Jim Jordan, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Ohio’s 4th district since 2007, posted several comments on social media addressing crime in cities, corporate decision-making, and former President Donald Trump.
On August 26, 2025, Jordan questioned opposition to crime reduction efforts in certain municipalities, writing: "Why would anyone be opposed to cleaning up crime in Democrat-run cities? Seems like common sense!"
The following day, August 27, he commented on a business decision by Cracker Barrel: "Cracker Barrel’s flip flop shows the power of Real America! Other companies should take notice."
On August 28, Jordan made a brief statement referencing former President Trump: "Trump was right. Again. https://t.co/FSHWEZ2805"
Jordan has represented Ohio’s 4th District since replacing Mike Oxley in 2007 and previously served in both chambers of the Ohio state legislature. Born in Troy, Ohio in 1964 and currently residing in Urbana, he holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Capital University.
