Rep. Jim Jordan, who represents Ohio’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of posts on his social media account addressing topics ranging from military remembrance to economic development in Ohio.
On August 26, 2025, Jordan marked the anniversary of the death of Max Soviak at Abbey Gate in Kabul, Afghanistan. He wrote: "It’s been four years since Max Soviak paid the ultimate sacrifice for his country at the Abbey Gate in Kabul, Afghanistan. We will never forget his service. God Bless him and his family."

Jim Jordan has served as a member of Congress representing Ohio's 4th District since replacing Mike Oxley in 2007 and previously held positions in both chambers of the Ohio legislature from 1995 through 2006. Born in Troy, Ohio in 1964 and currently residing in Urbana, Jordan holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Capital University.
