Nearly $20 million in grant funding has been distributed to 21 nonprofit organizations throughout Ohio through the state's Parenting and Pregnancy Program, according to the Ohio Department of Children and Youth. State Representative Angie King (R-Celina) announced that Family Life Center of Auglaize County, located in Wapakoneta and within her district, is among the recipients.

“Strong families build strong communities,” said King. “I am proud to continue our investment in the health and future of Ohio’s families. By supporting parents before and after birth, we’re making sure children start life with every advantage and parents have the resources and encouragement they need.”

The increased funding for this program was included in House Bill 96, Ohio’s State Operating Budget, which aims to support thousands of mothers and babies across the state.
