U.S. Congressman Jim Jordan, representing Ohio’s 4th district, posted a series of statements on social media between August 13 and 14, 2025, addressing topics ranging from media coverage to school choice legislation and alleged whistleblower information.

On August 13, Jordan commented on television ratings following a guest appearance by Greg Gutfeld: "Greg Gutfeld went on the Tonight Show last week. Ratings soared to a multi-year high. Shows what can happen if the media covers both sides fairly!"

Later that day, he raised questions regarding an alleged whistleblower report: "Why didn’t Chris Wray turn over the whistleblower 302 that said Adam Schiff authorized the leak of classified information?" This statement references FBI Director Christopher Wray and former House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff.

On August 14, Jordan expressed support for school choice initiatives associated with former President Donald Trump: "President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill delivers SCHOOL CHOICE for American families. Parents over woke teachers unions! Promises made. Promises kept."

Jim Jordan has served in Congress since 2007 after replacing Mike Oxley as representative for Ohio's 4th district. He previously held positions in both the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate from 1995 through 2006. Born in Troy, Ohio in 1964 and currently residing in Urbana, Jordan is an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin–Madison and holds a law degree from Capital University.
