Rep. Jim Jordan, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 4th district since 2007, posted a series of tweets on August 12 and 13, 2025, discussing his upcoming media appearance and expressing views on public safety in major U.S. cities.
On August 12, Jordan announced his appearance on Fox News with Laura Ingraham, writing: "Coming up on Fox News with @IngrahamAngle at 7:20 p.m. ET.
Tune in!"
The following day, he commented on crime rates in several U.S. cities and endorsed former President Trump’s stance on public safety. Jordan stated: "Everyone knows you’re not safe in Democrat-run cities like Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles.

Jordan has served as the representative for Ohio's 4th District since replacing Mike Oxley in 2007. Before his tenure in Congress, he was a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 1995 to 2000 and served in the Ohio Senate from 2001 to 2006. Born in Troy, Ohio in 1964 and currently residing in Urbana, Jordan holds a BS from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a JD from Capital University.
