Rep. Jim Jordan, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 4th district since 2007, recently used his social media platform to comment on crime in Washington, D.C., promote an event supporting Second Amendment rights, and raise questions about the handling of classified information.

On August 11, 2025, Jordan posted: "What’s so controversial about cleaning up the crime in Washington, D.C.?

Seems like a good idea to normal Americans.

Thank you, President Trump!"

Later that day, he shared information about a public event: "The Ohio Department of Natural Resources invites the public to enjoy 'Free Range Day' at public shooting ranges on Saturday, August 16.

Go enjoy your Second Amendment rights!

On August 12, Jordan addressed allegations involving Rep. Adam Schiff: "According to a whistleblower, Adam Schiff approved the leak of classified information to target President Trump.

Jordan has represented Ohio's 4th District since succeeding Mike Oxley in Congress and previously served in both chambers of the Ohio state legislature. Born in Troy, Ohio in 1964 and currently residing in Urbana, Jordan holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Capital University.
