Rep. Jim Jordan, who represents Ohio’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, addressed a range of topics in a series of posts on his social media account between August 8 and August 11, 2025.

On August 8, Jordan commented on an incident involving law enforcement in Ohio. He wrote, "Two more Ohio police officers were shot last night. The shooter must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. We will be praying for the officers and their families." (August 8, 2025).

Later that day, Jordan referenced the anniversary of a significant political event: "They raided President Trump’s home three years ago today. How’d that work out for them?" (August 8, 2025).

On August 11, he turned his attention to sports broadcasting policies affecting local fans. Jordan posted, "Why’s it so hard to watch the Cleveland Indians sometimes? It’s time for major sports leagues to rethink local 'blackout' rules in the digital age." (August 11, 2025).

Jordan has served as a member of Congress since replacing Mike Oxley in 2007 and previously held positions in both the Ohio House of Representatives and Senate. Born in Troy, Ohio in 1964 and currently residing in Urbana, he is an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Capital University.
