Rep. Jim Jordan, who represents Ohio’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on August 6 and 7, 2025, addressing issues related to attacks on ICE officers and announcing a media appearance.
On August 6, 2025, Jordan questioned Democratic lawmakers’ stance regarding violence against federal immigration officials by posting: "Will Democrats ever condemn the attacks on ICE officers?" The same day, he shared a link without additional commentary: "https://t.co/7kZQrUUL8w"
The following evening, Jordan notified his followers about an upcoming television appearance: "Coming up on Fox News at 9:30 p.m. ET. Tune in!" (August 7, 2025).
Jordan has represented Ohio’s 4th District in Congress since replacing Mike Oxley in 2007. Prior to his current role, he served in the Ohio House of Representatives from 1995 to 2000 and in the Ohio Senate from 2001 to 2006. Born in Troy, Ohio in 1964 and currently residing in Urbana, Jordan earned a BS from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a JD from Capital University.
