Rep. Jim Jordan, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Ohio’s 4th district since 2007, posted a series of tweets on August 4 and 5, 2025, questioning narratives about the Russia investigation and expressing support for former President Donald Trump’s policies.
On August 4, Jordan wrote: "Why weren't they honest about the Russia hoax?" Later that day, he followed up with another post stating: "Trump was right about the border.
He was right about the economy.
He was right about the Russia hoax.
Who was wrong?
Democrats and the media."
Continuing his commentary into August 5, Jordan asserted: "The southern border is secure. Promises made. Promises kept! https://t.co/RlQ4VbckiJ"
Jordan has been serving in Congress since replacing Mike Oxley in 2007 and previously held seats in both chambers of Ohio’s state legislature from 1995 to 2006. Born in Troy, Ohio in 1964, he resides in Urbana and holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Capital University.
