Jim Jordan has represented Ohio's 4th congressional district since replacing Mike Oxley in 2007. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he served in the Ohio House of Representatives from 1995 to 2000 and the Ohio Senate from 2001 to 2006. Jordan was born in Troy, Ohio in 1964 and currently resides in Urbana. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a Juris Doctor from Capital University.
