Rep. Jim Jordan, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 4th district since 2007, posted a series of tweets on July 17 and 18, 2025, addressing issues related to the Biden administration, government funding, and public discourse around economic topics.

On July 17, Jordan questioned past criticism of former President Trump regarding food prices: "Remember when Democrats tried to blame President Trump for egg prices? Will they give him credit now?"

Later that day, he referenced a new memo from the House Judiciary Committee's Republican members: "New @judiciarygop memo: Biden admin provided grants for Israel judiciary reform protests".

On July 18, Jordan highlighted a headline involving Congressional oversight: "‘House Panel Probes Taxpayer Dollars Sent to Left-Wing Groups’".

Jordan has served in Congress since succeeding Mike Oxley in 2007. Before his tenure in the U.S. House of Representatives, he was a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 1995 to 2000 and served in the Ohio Senate from 2001 to 2006. Born in Troy, Ohio in 1964 and currently residing in Urbana, Jordan holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Capital University.
