Rep. Jim Jordan, who represents Ohio’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on his social media account reflecting on current events and personal values.
On July 15, 2025, Jordan commented on the Major League Baseball All-Star Game taking place in Atlanta: "Despite Democrat lies and attacks over the years, the MLB All-Star game is tonight in Atlanta. Congrats to Cleveland Indians stars Jose Ramirez and Steven Kwan on their selection to the American League All-Star roster!"
The following day, July 16, he shared news about an Ohio serviceman whose remains were identified after decades: "Ohio native Lieutenant William B. Buck’s remains were identified by the Department of Defense after losing his life in a prisoner of war camp during World War II. He’s finally returning to Ohio. God Bless him."
Later that same day, Jordan highlighted a quote about fatherhood: "I'd much rather be a great father than I would be a great golfer. At the end of the day, that's what's more important to me." Amazing.
Jordan has served as a member of Congress since 2007 after succeeding Mike Oxley. Prior to his tenure in Washington, he served in both chambers of Ohio's state legislature between 1995 and 2006. Born in Troy, Ohio in 1964 and currently residing in Urbana, Jordan holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Capital University.
