Of the 5,835 people living in Fort Shawnee in 2020, 45.8 percent (2,674) were women and 54.2 percent (3,161) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Lima Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 271. In the 65 and over age range, there were 566 females and 487 males.
