Village of New Bremen issued the following announcement on Oct. 16.
The following compliments were recently submitted via the Village website:
“I would like to compliment Ben Krieg, Jon Moore, and the rest of their crew along with Chris Pape. They cut down a large tree in our tree lawn who’s roots had pushed up the sidewalk a considerable amount. They then ground out the stump and roots, poured a new sidewalk, and seeded grass in the tree lawn. Ben kept us informed during the whole process of what they were doing. As much as we hated to lose the beautiful tree, we really appreciated our village workers and all of their hard work.”
“Thanks to the Village crew for the removal of the tree and stump in front of our house on Harlamert. They did a great job!”
