In a subsequent tweet posted the same day, Jordan addressed recent incidents involving Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers: "Pray for our ICE officers, the victims, and their families.
These men and women are working to keep America safe.

Jim Jordan has served in Congress since 2007 after succeeding Mike Oxley as the representative for Ohio's 4th district. Before his tenure in Congress, he was a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 1995 to 2000 and served in the Ohio Senate from 2001 to 2006. Jordan was born in Troy, Ohio in 1964 and currently resides in Urbana. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a Juris Doctor from Capital University.
