Rep. Jim Jordan, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Ohio’s 4th district, posted several messages on his X (formerly Twitter) account between September 19 and September 22, 2025, expressing views on public safety and support for former President Donald Trump.
On September 19, Jordan questioned the priorities of Democratic leaders regarding urban safety. He wrote, "American families like safe cities. Why don't Democrat leaders?"
A few days later, on September 22, Jordan shared a tweet containing only a link: "https://t.co/oryAno2bgg".
Later that same day, he praised Donald Trump’s first year in office. In his post from September 22, he stated, "Real America appreciates everything President Trump has done since taking office. And it hasn’t even been one year!"
Jordan has represented Ohio's 4th District in Congress since 2007 after succeeding Mike Oxley. Before serving in Congress, he was a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 1995 to 2000 and served in the Ohio Senate from 2001 to 2006. Born in Troy, Ohio in 1964 and currently residing in Urbana, Jordan holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Capital University.
