State Representative Angie King has been sworn in for her second term representing Ohio's 84th House District. The district includes Mercer County, northern Darke, and southern Auglaize counties.

King expressed her commitment to the district, stating, “I am truly honored to advocate as a strong voice for the 84th House District.” She added that she looks forward to working on legislation aimed at improving living conditions in Ohio.

During the last general assembly, King introduced 15 pieces of legislation. Her efforts led to securing millions in state funding for her district. Among her legislative achievements were supporting nursing mothers, advocating for Congress to repeal the Windfall Elimination Provision affecting public servants' Social Security benefits, and honoring local service members with memorial road naming.

King resides in Celina with her husband Mark. They have been married for over 30 years and have two adult children and four grandchildren.

The swearing-in took place during Monday’s session, marking the start of the 136th General Assembly.
