State Rep. Susan Manchester | The Ohio House of Representatives
State Representative Susan Manchester (R-Waynesville) has expressed her support for the Ohio House's decision to override Governor DeWine's veto of House Bill 68, the SAFE Act and Save Women's Sports Act. In a statement, Manchester emphasized the importance of this legislation in protecting the well-being of children and preserving the integrity of women's sports.
According to Manchester, Governor DeWine's veto would have had negative consequences for both Ohio's youth and the world of women's sports. She believes that the SAFE Act and Save Women's Sports Act are crucial in safeguarding the rights and opportunities of Ohio's most vulnerable individuals.
"I am proud to support this vital legislation and will continue to protect Ohio's most vulnerable," Manchester stated.
The veto override of the SAFE Act will now be reviewed by the Ohio Senate, where further discussions and deliberations on the matter will take place.
