Rep. Jim Jordan, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 4th district since 2007, posted a series of statements on his social media account on September 10, 2025, focusing on border security, crime rates in Washington D.C., and support for Charlie Kirk.
In one post from the afternoon of September 10, Jordan wrote: "Democrats refused to secure the border. President Trump did. Democrats refuse to hold criminals accountable. President Trump will."
Later that day, he commented on crime rates in the nation’s capital: "Crime has plummeted in Washington, D.C. thanks to President Trump. Shouldn’t Democrat mayors in other cities be begging the President to help them too? Or do they like the crime in their cities?"
Jordan also expressed well wishes for conservative activist Charlie Kirk: "We’re all praying for Charlie Kirk. God bless him."
Jim Jordan was born in Troy, Ohio in 1964 and currently resides in Urbana at age 59. He began his political career serving in the Ohio House of Representatives from 1995 to 2000 and then moved to the Ohio Senate until his election to Congress in 2007. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a Juris Doctor from Capital University.
