In his first tweet at 17:53 UTC, Jordan criticized media outlets for their focus on political influencers rather than violent crime: "Outlets like @axios would rather complain about “MAGA influencers” than address the fact that an innocent woman on a rail car was brutally killed. What happened to the media?".
Later in the day, at 19:59 UTC, he announced an appearance on Newsmax with Greta Van Susteren: "Coming up on @NEWSMAX with @greta at 4:10 p.m. ET. Tune in!".

Jordan has served as Ohio’s representative in Congress since replacing Mike Oxley in 2007 and previously held seats in both the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate. Born in Troy, Ohio in 1964 and currently residing in Urbana, Jordan holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Capital University.
