State Representative Angie King of Celina, Ohio, has been selected to attend the Bowhay Institute for Legislative Leadership Development (BILLD) program in Madison, Wisconsin. This prestigious program is known for its competitive and nonpartisan selection process aimed at fostering leadership skills among legislators.

King expressed her enthusiasm about the opportunity: “I’m honored and excited to be attending this year’s BILLD program to help improve my legislative knowledge and skill to better serve the people of the 84th House District.”

The BILLD program is designed to assist newer legislators in developing essential skills for effective leadership, informed decision-making, and policy analysis. It provides lawmakers with a platform to enhance their leadership abilities while engaging with nationally recognized scholars, professional development experts, and legislative leaders from across the Midwest.

Organized by the Council of State Governments' Midwestern Office, the 2025 edition of the BILLD program will feature courses and seminars led by policy experts, midwestern legislative leaders, and professional development trainers.

Currently serving her second term, King represents Ohio's 84th House District.
