There were 356 white students enrolled in New Knoxville Local School District in the 2023-24 school year, an increase from the 349 white students in the previous school year, according to the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce.

Data showed that New Knoxville Local School District welcomed 386 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, white students made up 92.2% of the student body, making them the most represented ethnicity in the district.

New Knoxville Local School District roughly covers two schools within Auglaize County and has its main office in New Knoxville.

Among the two schools in New Knoxville Local School District, New Knoxville Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2023-24 school year, with a total of 277 students.

In 2022, Ohio saw an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:15, which is better than the national average of 1:16. This marks an improvement for the state, especially compared to 2016, when the ratio reached its decade-high at 16.1 students per teacher.

Despite the apparent improvement, this positive trend is overshadowed by a general decline in public school enrollments, which was accelerated by the pandemic. This decline, aligned with the steady number of teachers in the state over the last 10 years, has led to low student-to-teacher ratios.
