There were 988 white students enrolled in Allen East Local Schools in the 2022-23 school year, an increase from the 987 white students in the previous school year, according to the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce.

Data showed that Allen East Local Schools welcomed 1,052 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students made up 93.9% of the student body, making them the most represented ethnicity in the district.

Allen East Local Schools roughly covers three schools within Allen County and has its main office in Harrod.

Among the three schools in Allen East Local Schools, Allen East Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 426 students.

In 2022, Ohio saw an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:15, which is better than the national average of 1:16. This marks an improvement for the state, especially compared to 2016, when the ratio reached its decade-high at 16.1 students per teacher.

Despite the apparent improvement, this positive trend is overshadowed by a general decline in public school enrollments, which was accelerated by the pandemic. This decline, aligned with the steady number of teachers in the state over the last 10 years, has led to low student-to-teacher ratios.
