Description:
March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month. Mercy Health and Kentucky Cancer Program are hosting this event to promote colon health. Our goal is to educate, bring awareness, and address the healthcare disparity in colon cancer rates and colonoscopy screening rates among the Black community.
10am-2pm
Walk through the Incredible Colon (walk-through, inflatable colon), obtain information about colon cancer and colonoscopies, learn more about our colonoscopy screening program with KCP.
Noon-1pm
Free lunch* and learn with Dr. Lingaiah Chandrashekar, Gastroenterologist
